I just downloaded and installed the current version of Gimp. Yes, I'm using Gimp for all of my digital art. For all the people out there who doesn't know what Gimp is a short explanation: It's a software to create digital drawings, edit photographs and much more. Many of it's functions, at least the most common, are compareable to photoshop, but - and this is the great thing about Gimp - this software is for free. And since Gimp 2.6 you're able to use custom-made brushes for photoshop in Gimp, too.
I hope that I find the time to use it as soon as possible for a new drawing, but unfortunately the next semester is going to start in about a week and I still have to finish my academic assignment...
